WELCOME to the Home of the {RKoD} Royal Knights of Death Guild
Welcome to the Home of the {RKoD} Royal Knights of Death. We are a mature and fun gaming Guild with over 100 Members strong.
The Royal Knights of Death was founded by Sir Dread in September of 2002 with only 4 members (Sir Dread, Sir Wolfange, Sir Peacekeeper, Sgt Flame). At that time we were playing a Game called Tribes 2 and in order to compete we needed to recruit at least another 6 players. After about 2 weeks we were able to acquire a few new members such as Fibercon, Sir Pyro, Tech1, Ahhzz, Shigoki, & Deathsky with many more to come over the following year. We competed in the Tribes 2 10-man Classic Division until Tribes Vengeance was released which quickly brought the demise of Tribes. Fortunately we have Tech1 and Ahhzz to thank for steering the RKoD to World of Warcraft late in 2004 and we have grown consistently ever since.
Being an RKoD (pronounced R-Code) is a privilege and something we are all proud to a part of. Each of us have dedicated ourselves to the principles of the RKoD Code of Honor as well as the 'RKoD Code of Conduct' and require each new recruit to agree upon and uphold. We stand for Honor & Respect!! Please make yourself at home and feel free to register here and enjoy. If you are here to fill out an application for the RKoD Guild you will need to register and activate your account through your email and an Honor Knight will get in touch with you in-game or by a reply to your application. **PLEASE** take the time to go to 'Your Account' and set the Forum Timezone to GMT -5. This is the timezone the Bloodhoof server uses, so we will use it too :) |

The RKoD would like to welcome our new Alliance Members from the Mayor of Stormwind Guild. We have only been running for two weeks now yet we have managed to bring down the High King, Gruul, and the Lurker in SSC. These guys are truely great players and we look forward to a long lasting and mutual benificial Alliance.

 Last week with alot of dedication and determination, several RKoD raids were successfully ran. We managed to take down the following bosses:

Maiden of Virtue
Opera Event
The Curator
Chess Event
Shade of Aran
Terestian Illhoof
Prince Malchezaar
For each and every member that participated RKoD leaders would like to thank you for your time, dedication and for just flat out working some butts off to make raids like this happen. This week we will try again and if the efforts shown this week is even close to what it was last week, we may even take down the last two bosses in Kara that we haven't faced. Namely Netherspite & Nightbane! "Now get in the pit and try to love some one!"

{RKoD} Royal Knights of Death
Well here we go on another year of Fun and Festivities with our little family. With TBC coming out in a couple of weeks we are anticipating a lot of new content to explore and progress within the guild. There are a lot of toons to level and plenty of new instances to conquer as well as the existing ones we have yet to conquer.
We have some restructuring going on within the guild to help us along in the Xpac, as well as the original content. Remember that everyone will need to “Put your Backs into It!!” With all of the RKoD working towards making this guild the best, I have no doubt that we will achieve GREAT things this year.
I want to send out thanks to all my Guild Officers for all the work that they have put into our little organization to help provide us a structured environment to share our online fun.

RKoD Defeats Hakkar!

 Yup, without any real intentions or expectations of doing so, RKoD worked our way from the entrance of Zul'Gurub to Hakkar. Although it isn't Blackwing Lair it was just so enjoyable to raid with everyone last night. Just goes to show with the right people, the right attitide, anything is accomplishable.  First I would like to start with a disclaimer: This post is intended to be humorous not offensive in any means, that being said everyone should get a chuckle out of this.
Broddie's Top 10 things that happened in BWL last night
10. The Ledge as required in the my hunter's manual I must fall off the ledge when jumping over to the balcony at least 50% of the time.... Last night I was in shock as I was 3 for 3 in jumping over to the ledge therefore I successfully missed everytime thereafter.
9. The Pet - who did a better job of surviving then I did... But I still had to bribe him with fish to keep him happy anyway.
8. My Faction - obiously is low with Lauralynn (jk) as I never got a rez last night LOL however, I burned 300 calories running back from the graveyard so I call that a win.
7. The Pull - " Your distracting shot missed Razorgore" yes its true it was the hunters fault for us getting wiped that time.
6. The Repair Bot - Is so cool I laugh everytime I see him and then try and figure out how to break in and get my repair money back.
5. The Target - Casting Hunter's Mark on Silverdraugh does not work. Shooting at him doesnt either... Yea can you say opps.....
4. The Mauling - Being one of the last people up to see 40 angry mobs running at you and thinking I am going to be goo on the floor after this. I have to credit the Goo Statement to Qwinn who said it my first time in BWL however last night I got to experience it.
3. The Countdown - 321 GO but faster then I can type it or say it since I have that Southern draw that requires 3 sylabols for every word. PS: as you can see from above my spelling reflects my speaking lol.
2. The Loot - Obediah saying lets go to the pool and distribute the loot oh yea there was not any.... Cracked me up
1. The People - Getting to hang out in a zone where most guilds cannot even go, with people who make me laugh reguardless of the situation.
Finally I would like to thank the raid leaders and everyone involved in the raid last night for taking the time to learn a new zone/mob and the patience to keep trying.
As for me everytime I go back to BWL we seem to get more and more organized in the fight and eventually we will have it down.
It will just take some time. I have no doubt in my mind that we will accomplish this goal and that everyone will look back on these times and laugh.... Saying remember when...

Welcome to the RKoD "Royal Knights of Death" web page.
Over the past 3.5 months we have been recruiting fairly heavy, although we have filled a number of classes we are still in need of a few more.
If you are here interested in becoming part of our Guild please keep in mind that we are looking for people that not only play their toon to the best of their abilities, but also have the attitudes to do what is necessary for the betterment of the Guild and/or Raid. We do what we can to assist leveling up RKoD guild members so they too can join in the RKoD Progression through the End Game Raid Content. Our Officers are Mature and provide a strong Leadership Structure. We are fair and organized guild that genuinely cares about each and every guild member and how they succede in the game.
Above All we stand for HONOR & RESPECT FOR ALL, that means that you respect the Guild, Officers and fellow guild members at all times. We have very little tolerance for disrespect!! So if you feel that you can Honor that, then come on into the forums (Modules link in upper left panel), register, read and understand the Code of Conduct, then follow the instructions on applying. Our Honor Knights (Class Leader) will post a reply to make contact with you for any additional questions or concerns he/she might have. Good Luck!
